A Note About System Design & Limitations
- Sprinkler systems in Texas are not designed to be “blown out” with compressed air like systems up north. Doing so improperly can violate TCEQ backflow regulations.
- Most irrigation lines are buried below the frost line, but exposed valves and devices above ground are at risk and should always be insulated.
- While we take every possible step to protect your system, no preparation method can guarantee complete protection from all freeze damage during extreme conditions.
